What are Connectors?

Rocket Pro Connectors help mortgage brokers work smarter by linking essential tools, like Salesforce and Canva, right inside Rocket Pro Navigate. Connectors eliminate busywork, automate repetitive tasks, and help you close more business by giving real-time access to client data, marketing assets, and outreach. 

Right now, we offer two Connectors: 

  1. Canva: Design and deliver professional marketing assets. 
  2. Salesforce: Instantly sync your CRM and spot your best opportunities.

Prompt fundamentals

Prompts are the instructions you give Rocket Pro Navigate to get the most useful, personalized output. The more specific you are, the better your emails, marketing assets, or lead lists will be. 

Here are our top five tips for effective prompting: 

  1. Be specific and clear: Spell out exactly what you want: structure, goal, and details. 
  2. Provide context: Share audience, purpose, and any background info that could guide the result. 
  3. Set the tone and intent: Ask for the right style (informal, direct, friendly, persuasive) so it fits your brand and audience. 
  4. Call out any rules: Ask to avoid certain phrases, stay compliant, or hit your must-have points. 
  5. Request options or variations: Don’t settle for one draft. Get a few so you can test or personalize. 

Here’s a real example. 

Bad prompt: 
“Write an email to reengage past refinance clients.” 
Vague and generic with no clear outcome and no instructions on tone or content. 

Better prompt: 
“Write three outreach emails for past refi clients, ordered least to most assertive.” 
Clearer on structure and approach but lacking in context and compliance. 

Best prompt: 
“Acting as a senior mortgage marketer, write three emails for past refi clients, labeled [1] Soft, [2] Balanced, [3] Direct. Each should include two subject lines, a preview line, 120 – 150 words of body copy, a clear CTA, and a gentle objection handler. Personalize each with {first_name} and {loan_type}. Stay compliant; don’t mention rates or APR.” 

Canva Connector

What is Canva Connector?

It lets mortgage brokers create, edit, and download marketing assets, from flyers to social posts to postcards, even if you don’t have any design skills. 

How do I set up the Canva Connector?

You can set up Canva Connector right from any chat in Rocket Pro Navigate. Here’s how it works: 

  1. Open any chat and click the “AI Tools” button in the chat input field. 
  2. Select the Canva Connector from the pop-up menu. 
  3. If you haven’t authenticated Canva in this session, you’ll see an alert with a button to sign in and authorize. Click the button. 
  4. Sign in to your Canva account and authorize the connection. 
  5. Once connected, the Canva Connector should be active.

Salesforce Connector

What is Salesforce Connector?

It brings your client and deal data directly from Salesforce so you can act on opportunities faster. 

How do I connect Salesforce Connector?

To get started with the Salesforce Connector, your Salesforce admin will need to install the Rocket Pro Navigate managed packaged. Here’s how: 

  1. Go to the following links: Production and Sandbox (test environment) 
  2. Sign in to your Salesforce organization, then enter the installation password: RocketPlatinum 
  3. When asked about security settings, we recommend selecting “Install for Admin Only.” 
  4. Once installed, you’ll receive a confirmation email that process is complete. 
  5. Assign the RocketProNavigate permission set to users who need access. 

After installation is complete and your admin finishes the configuration, you’ll be able to use the Salesforce Connector directly from Rocket Pro Navigate.

1. How do I connect my Salesforce or Canva account to Rocket Pro Navigate?
You can activate external connectors from the AI Tools sub-menu inside your chat input.  

  • First time using connectors in a chat session: Click on the Connector you want to use. A window will open prompting you to sign in to your account and authorize the connection. 
  • Already signed in and authorized during your session: Just open the AI Tools menu and select the Connector. 

2. Is there any additional cost to use Connectors, or are they included for all broker partners? 
Rocket Pro Navigate is included for all broker partners at no extra charge. To use a specific Connector, you’ll need an active account (and appropriate access) with each tool. If you already have those accounts, you can connect and use them in Rocket Pro Navigate for free. 

3. What specific client or deal data is synced with Salesforce?  
Contacts, deal info, activity, and pipeline status updates. 

4. Why isn’t my Connector syncing correctly? What should I do if it stalls?  
If your Connector isn’t syncing, try disconnecting and reconnecting it. If you still have issues, submit a support ticket through Rocket Pro Assist, and our team will guide you through step-by-step troubleshooting.
